I am pretty excited to have an outfit to show. Shockingly, it's the first one of 2014! That being said, I do believe it is deserving of the honour. In this outfit post I am sporting my favourites: favourite colours, favourite dress items...all the things I would live in if I could! A navy blue dress with nude accessories and a necklace to tie the entire outfit together? Yes, I'll take one of those outfits multiplied by 365 please! I wore this out to my brother's birthday dinner (the not so little guy turned 19) and laughter and much eating ensued. I'm certain I look tired in these pictures and there are 2 reasons for that: 1. I was going for the whole 'I-am-a-personal-style-blogger-I-dare-not-smile look and 2. I might have actually been a teensy bit tired because exercise, law school and football have taken over my life and I am chock full of things to do almost every day of the week. I'll try do a Life Lately post to fill you in. I've been shopping recently too (just a few bits and bobs here and there) so I'll attempt a New In post too. I make no promises both because of the above mentioned busyness and because I'm trying to go with quality and not quantity here on the blog this year. I'm still in love with blogging though so fret not! Oh and before I forget, here's that outfit I mentioned:

I haven't been blogging  much recently. At least not over here on my blogger blog. I've been spending a lot of my time over on tumblr getting inspired. As I mentioned in a previous post, I've been on a bit of a health kick and I can see marked improvement in both my physical and mental health. I have to say, it's tough getting up at the crack of dawn to jog a few kilometers (I'm up to 8 now) when you could just carry on sleeping the morning away but the way my thinking about myself has improved has been worth it. Speaking of tumblr, there are crazy inspirational stories out there where people have shed tons of weight in a year by 'skipping the dessert bar' and 'pounding the pavement'. It's great to think you can achieve that goal, whatever it may be, if you work for it.
